'Windows Live Writer'

I have just downloaded 'Windows Live Writer'. Using this simple tool, I plan to update this blog more often than usual. So far, I like this program because it is very easy to use.

Last nights storm (Stick your head between your legs and kiss your ass goodbye.)

Last night, I sat threw one of the worst storms of the season, and it happened in a blink of an eye. Here's how it went down. I was sitting at home on my computer (like I am now), when I observed a few quick bursts of lightening out my window. I didn't think much of it at first, but a few seconds later when a ridiculous amount of lightening appeared right outside my window I became more observant to the situation outside. So I ran outside (no rain yet) and the first thing I heard (besides the howling wind) was nearby tornado sirens sounding off at the neighboring elementary school. After running back inside to shutdown and unplug (to prevent possible electrical damage) all my expensive electronic gizmo's (IE: my computer (scroll to bottom of page, under where it says "GAMING RIG"), 'Xbox 360', various other computers around the house, my home entertainment sound system, and other things of that nature), I took my trash cans (both full at the time) down into my basement (so I wouldn't have to pick-up trash all over my property afterwords). Then, not having enough time to put the patio furniture in the basement also, I just laid it all down on the patio / back porch. Finally I grabbed my walkie-talkie / two-way radio (with 'NOAA Weather Radio' channel equipped) and some food (not knowing how long I'd be down there) and made my way down into my basement.

About an hour later, I emerged from my basement to find this (please note that I had not moved the motor vehicle nor the tree branch prior to taking any of these photographs). Here is a pic with a yard stick for accurate / precise measurement. Here is a batch of all the photos I took the following morning . I am happy to report that there was no structural damage done neither to my house nor my truck / SUV. And yes, that was the only significant debris on my property in the aftermath of last nights storm.

The wait is (almost) over!

Big, Big news. Apparently bigger than the 'Halo 3' launch news. Depending on when you read this, 'Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare' (Multi-Platform) will hit the streets tomorrow!

I am more excited about this game that I was about 'Halo 3'. This is partly due to the fact that I have followed the 'Call of Duty' series sense day one. I had fun participating in the beta and I'm sure the retail will not disappoint; that is besides the no co-op play feature.

(Once this title is released, I will take down the countdown timer.)
